| Urban streets and settings |

| Streets are obviously essential for bringing people from point A to point B. But far more importantly in this Internet Age we live in: Streets, plazas and other public areas facilitate something that no blog, video platform, podcast or virtual community can ever hope to replace: real, face-to-face human communication! After all, these are the (infra)structural features that literally put the “life” in “city life”. Since we regard streets and avenues as the lifelines of the human urban experience, we shape them to best suit the inhabitants they serve – always with an eye towards people’s needs as well as all applicable guidelines and legislation. Sidewalks, bike paths, roadside trees, urban oases... When BPR designs them, they are not just icing on the cake, but rather a main ingredient in the recipe for enhancing the human experience – and for making cities even more livable and likable.
