In a world marked by massive human influence, it is all the more important for us to strive for a harmonious balance between our settlements and the landscapes we inhabit. The power we have over Planet Earth obliges us to do our best to safeguard natural resources and take on responsibility for making it a good place to live in – not only for humankind. BPR lives these principles to the fullest when mapping out biotopes, assessing the environmental impact of planned construction work or designing landscapes to offset human intervention.
The magic of green
When shrubs, trees and other greenery are used in civil engineering and building projects, they tend to be thrown in as a mere afterthought, as splotches of color with about as much appeal as those toothpick trees that architects stick onto cardboard models to pep them up a bit. At BPR, greenery gets the priority it deserves – as a key component of any project, the magic of green is always part of the plan, right from the start.
