| The same steel rails that once won the West, creating many a Hollywood legend along the way, have been every bit as important to the building of modern-day Europe. Railways have been instrumental in erasing traditional borders and giving rise to a new Europe – a Europe of common purpose, with the economic clout to take its rightful place in the global arena. No less exciting than the EU’s historic rise to prominence is the engineering and building of railways – a prime discipline of ours at BPR. Whatever the scope or scale (national, regional, urban, industrial), we have what it takes, also for creative challenges such as the combined railroad/tram tracks designed and built by BPR for the port city of Bremen. Major automotive companies like BMW and Daimler entrust their rail operations to facilities built by BPR, with sidings equipped with heatable switches to ensure just-in-time deliveries even when the weather takes a turn for the worse. We proudly lay tracks to keep people and commodities moving full steam ahead.
